Activities

The beach is only 30 metres down the front lawn from the  Bach. Here you can relax swimming, sunbathe, snorkel. paddle the kayaks, go tramping around the beaches or go fishing. At nearby Tutukaka there are fishing and deep sea fishing charters.

The diving is exceptional. The Poor Knight Islands were rated by Jacques Cousteau in the top 10 dive spots in the world. The coastal diving is  also very good and there are dive charters available at Tutukaka.

There are beautiful beaches close by at Matapouri, Woolies Bay and Sandy Bay.

A 14ft 40hp aluminium boat is available to hire depending on boating experience etc and discretion of management.

Facilities

Both studio’s can receive broadband wireless internet.

Downstairs Studio:

Downstairs Studio is situated under the main house which is lived in and occupied by the owner.

Fully furnished 2 bedroom studio It has open plan living, tiled floor. Outside patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ over looking the Bay. Modern kitchenette with all facilities and double burner hob.

There is a double bedroom with queen size bed. The other bedroom has double bunk with single bunk above.

The lounge has a double sofa bed, cosy fireplace and large screen TV. The bathroom has a high pressure shower and the washing machine is under the stairs.

The studio sleeps 5-7 people.

Garage Studio:

Open plan living opening onto terrace with BBQ overlooking the Bay. King size bed sleeps 2, all mod con’s including large screen TV. Cot’s are available for both studio’s.
